Job Overview
Brighton Cabinetry is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing and finishing cabinetry components by applying high-quality coatings using airless spray equipment and other finishing techniques. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing other required surface preparation techniques.
- Operate airless paint spray equipment and other coating application tools to apply finishes accurately and consistently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure color consistency, finish quality, and coating thickness meet company quality standards.
- Safely handle, move, and transport materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts, cranes, or other material handling devices as required.
- Maintain all spray equipment and tools by cleaning and performing routine maintenance after use.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly disposing of waste materials.
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow established lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial, automotive, or manufacturing painting is preferred.
- Experience with airless spray systems and powder coating processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, machining, or welding, is beneficial.
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read work instructions and follow detailed specifications.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and warehouse experience are advantageous.
- Respirator fit testing or PPE-related certifications are a plus; company-provided training will be available as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately to ensure finish quality.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
