Duties
- Assist with the measurement, cutting, and fitting of window and door components according to construction plans and schematics
- Handle glass materials carefully during fabrication, transportation, and installation to prevent damage
- Support with the installation of windows and doors, including frame carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for assembly, caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for glass materials handling and construction site setup
Requirements
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on experience in remodeling or handyman work is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, measuring tapes, and other construction equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Strong understanding of window installation, glass materials handling, door hanging, and fixture installation processes
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and learning opportunities
