Clinical Laboratory Assistant
Enable Biosciences, a diagnostics start-up company based in South San Francisco, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Laboratory Assistant. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of Laboratory Operations and the General Supervisor to support clinical testing operations. Clinical Laboratory Assistants divide their time between accessioning samples, performing pre-analytical processing of samples, reporting of clinical results, and equipment maintenance.
This is an in-person position.

- Accessioning, cataloging and processing of dried blood spot specimens for testing
- Assisting with acquiring missing requisition information from Test Requisition Forms
- Performing data entry into LIMS systems and assisting with sending out of clinical reports
- Keeping detailed records of activities and assisting with data gathering for quarterly audits
- Assisting with maintaining inventory of consumables for the clinical laboratory
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards in all activities
- Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide input as assigned
- Communicating progress in a timely manner
- Have excellent personal task management skills and a high level of self-motivation.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of laboratory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific fields
- Self-directed, innovative, and creative thinker.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with LIMS software for clinical laboratories, HIPAA and previous blood borne pathogen training
· Experience with navigating insurance information and customer relations management is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
