We’re growing and looking for a dynamic Service Manager / Master Technician to take charge of daily operations, manage a top-tier team, and lead with integrity, skill, and vision.
Position Summary:
This role is a hybrid of hands-on technical work and high-level leadership. You’ll oversee all service and installation activities, manage the shop floor, mentor and develop technicians, and ensure the service department runs at peak efficiency—all while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shop operations and maintain consistent workflow
- Diagnose, repair, and install aftermarket automotive components (suspensions, hitches, wheels/tires, grill guards, etc.)
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of technicians
- Coordinate with Parts and Service Advisor teams to ensure smooth repair processes
- Ensure safety protocols are met and followed at all times
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and provide top-tier service
- Monitor inventory, tools, and material usage efficiently
- Maintain records related to timecards, job status, and productivity
- Contribute to profitability through service and parts sales
- Identify opportunities for technician development and training
- Lead by example—be a mentor, a technician, and a team leader
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics (preferred)
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
- Proven leadership experience in a shop or service department
- Proficient in problem-solving, organization, and team communication
- Ownership of personal tools and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Must pass a drug test and have verifiable references
