Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-certified dump trucks to haul dirt, gravel, debris, and other construction materials across job sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on dump trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders, excavators, backhoes, or water trucks as needed.
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and utility locating teams to ensure accurate delivery routes and proper utility clearance before excavation or grading activities.
- Support excavation and construction utility work by operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or water trucks when required.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily trips, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety compliance records.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving within the construction industry or similar heavy equipment operation roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with construction site operations including excavation, grading, utility locating, and site utility work.
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar models), loaders, backhoes (including Backhoe loaders), and water trucks.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on trucks and machinery to ensure operational readiness.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety regulations, utility work, and construction grading processes is highly desirable.

Pay: $26.16 - $31.50 per hour
