BOSS Corporation and our LifeSaver Safety Program™ is seeking experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) safety professionals to deliver instructor-led safety training at customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area.
This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching, have strong OSHA knowledge, and want the flexibility to accept training assignments based on their availability.

What You'll Do
Lead engaging, hands-on safety training sessions for adult learners in professional workplace environments.
Primary topics include:
- Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training
- Scissor Lift & Boom Lift (MEWP) Training
- OSHA Safety Training
- Lockout / Tagout (LOTO)
- Machine Safeguarding
- CPR, AED & First Aid
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Emergency Response & Workplace Safety Topics
Our instructors are expected to facilitate discussion, answer questions, and connect with participants, not simply read slides.
What We're Looking ForRequired
✅ Fluent verbal communication in both English and Spanish
✅ Strong OSHA and workplace safety knowledge
✅ Experience with forklift, PIT, scissor lift, and boom lift operations or training
✅ Comfortable speaking in front of groups
✅ Professional appearance and demeanor
✅ Reliable transportation
✅ Ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland area
Preferred
- OSHA 501 and/or OSHA 510
- Safety Manager or EHS experience
- Previous instructor or training experience
- CPR/First Aid Instructor certifications
- Construction or industrial safety background
Flexible Scheduling
This is a 1099 contractor position. However, we do hire W2's from withing our 1099 contractors.
You choose when you're available to work. Training assignments are scheduled during normal business hours, generally Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
Many instructors maintain other professional responsibilities while accepting training assignments that fit their schedules.
Compensation
- $55-$75 per hour based on experience and credentials
- All training materials provided (laptop is contractors responsibility)

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
