We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, showcasing exceptional customer service skills and a passion for people. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an excellent dining experience for our guests while ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food preparation, ingredients, and specials.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables while maintaining a high level of service throughout the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
- Perform basic math calculations for checks and payments accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is essential.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for managing transactions effectively.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
