Job Description
As a Texas Ford Aquatics Swim America instructor you will focus on teaching competitive swim strokes. You may teach all levels of the building block process with the goal of moving the young swimmers to the Texas Ford Aquatics competitive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Instruct swimming classes
* Ability to get along with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
* Communicates in a prompt manner to supervisor when appropriate
* Exhibits great customer service to participants and patrons
* Promotes aquatic programming through concise communication to participants and patrons
* Regular and punctual attendance
* Attend training
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must be at least 15 years old
* Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in an instructional situation with children and parents
* Have current American Red Cross CPR-Professional Rescuer and First Aid certification (or can obtain one on their own and produce a copy to the supervisor within one month of employment)
Conditions of Employment:
* Must pass criminal history background check, and social security number verification check
* Must be able to work the entire season; morning, evening, and/or Saturday hours may be required
* Must be able to work complete sessions (substitution only allowed with proof of an emergency)
