Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate care. In this role, you will provide direct support to autistic individuals implementing behavior support plan. We have full time time and part-time positions available. Pay rate based on relevant experience and highest level of education completed. This position is home-based.
Responsibilities
- As our Behavior Technician, you will help autistic children to develop the necessary skills needed to increase independence.
- Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors.
- Every day you will provide direct therapy services under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- We provide a play-based approach that requires active engagement with the learner and physical movement to create a fun learning environment.
- Collect data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment plans and facilitate ongoing assessments.
- This role is performed using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). An evidence-based approach that requires proper protocols to be implemented by creating many learning opportunities and documenting each child's progress and responses.
- Write session notes and implement treatment plans per protocol.
Skills
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or autism spectrum disorder

- You need to be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check, drivers license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
