As a Technician – Electronic Level 1 Technician here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of our equipment and systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and performance in our operations.
You will report directly to our I/E Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Metropolis, IL location.
In this role, you will impact the success of Solstice Advanced Materials by ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Including but not limited to the following:
- Adhere to Site Safety Protocols and Regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations
