Rock Solid Landscape is a full service lawn and landscape company based out of Northwest Ohio. We are hiring a Lawn Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality lawn care services safely, on time, and to our standards. This is a hands-on field position focused on mowing, turf applications, and property upkeep.
What you’ll do
-Perform weekly lawn service (mow, trim/weed eat, edge, blow off/cleanup)
-Perform lawn applications (chemical applications) as scheduled and correctly
-Identify turf issues (weeds, insects, fungus, moles) and take appropriate control measures
-Aeration and seeding
-Spring and fall cleanups
-Landscape bed maintenance (mulching, pruning, weed control)
-Recognize and report irrigation issues on properties being serviced
-Complete required documentation in a timely manner
-Keep equipment organized and maintained, report material/equipment needs to your supervisor
-Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely, including daily fluid checks and reporting defects by end of shift
-Work hours needed to hit production goals, including occasional Fridays or Saturdays during peak season as required
-Assist team members with other assigned duties as requested
What we’re looking for
-Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
-Able to stand/work 8+ hours per day and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
-Able to walk, bend, crouch, stoop, dig, rake, and push a fertilizer spreader
-Able to operate vehicles and lawn/landscape equipment safely
-Strong communication with customers and teammates
-Bilingual in Spanish a plus
-Willing to follow Rock Solid Landscape uniform standards
-Valid driver’s license, and ability to meet physical requirements and drug/alcohol testing for a DOT medical card if needed
