Cedar Park Med is seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to provide behavioral health counseling and clinical support services to service members, veterans, and their immediate family members throughout Idaho. This role involves assessment, crisis intervention, care planning, referrals, community outreach, and ongoing case management. Services may be delivered in person, by telephone, or through secure telehealth platforms.
Schedule
- Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Schedule flexibility is required based on participant needs, scheduled events, and occasional weekend activities
- Services may be provided between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday, as needed
- Travel throughout Idaho may be required
- Participation in critical incident and crisis-support coverage may be required
- Initial 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health intakes, assessments, screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic formulation
- Develop individualized intervention and treatment plans based on each client’s presenting needs
- Provide evidence-based counseling, crisis intervention, clinical case management, and follow-up services
- Assess suicide risk and other behavioral health concerns and coordinate appropriate interventions
- Monitor client progress and modify care plans when clinically appropriate
- Connect clients and their families with behavioral health, medical, financial, and community-based resources
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, referral partners, and other members of the behavioral health team
- Support high-risk clients through coordinated, wraparound services focused on safety and suicide prevention
- Provide crisis response, critical-incident support, and debriefing following significant events
- Deliver behavioral health education, outreach, and wellness programming
- Provide two evidence-based relationship education courses annually
- Maintain familiarity with available state, federal, and community support programs
- Complete accurate clinical documentation, including presenting concerns, histories, risk assessments, diagnostic formulations, plans of care, and session notes
- Maintain confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements
- Track clinical services, consultations, referrals, follow-up contacts, and client outcomes
- Assist with monthly program reports and assessments
- Participate in periodic record reviews and documentation audits
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field
- Active clinical license; LCSW strongly preferred
- Practical clinical experience providing behavioral health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
- Experience coordinating complex cases, programs, or projects involving multiple responsibilities
- Strong clinical judgment and risk-assessment skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to provide education or training to individuals and groups
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive client information
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and access requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting military members, veterans, and military families
- Understanding of the unique behavioral health challenges affecting military-connected populations
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan, from children through older adults
- Knowledge of suicide prevention, family support, substance-use, and sexual assault prevention resources
- Experience delivering counseling through secure telehealth platforms
- Familiarity with community resources available throughout Idaho
- Experience conducting public outreach, crisis-response activities, or behavioral health training
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
