AtWork Jacksonville is looking for experienced Concrete Laborers to join construction crews working in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We are looking for dependable workers who understand concrete work, can work safely and efficiently, and are ready to contribute from day one.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of concrete labor experience — REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work every day
- Resume showing verifiable concrete labor experience
- Ability to provide verifiable work references
- Must be able to successfully complete the requirements to obtain a badge for work on military installations
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
WHAT YOU'LL BE EXPECTED TO DO
Experienced Concrete Laborers may be responsible for:
- Assisting with concrete placement and finishing
- Preparing and cleaning work areas
- Setting up and breaking down forms
- Mixing, pouring, spreading, and moving concrete materials
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Assisting concrete finishers with floats, screeds, trowels, and other equipment
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Performing general construction labor as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe job site
- Following directions from foremen and experienced crew members
- Following all job-site and military installation safety requirements
- Working efficiently as part of a construction team
BASE ACCESS REQUIRED
Some assignments may involve work on military installations. Candidates must be able to meet all requirements necessary to obtain and maintain the required base-access badge.
A resume is REQUIRED and must clearly show at least 2 years of concrete labor experience. References may be verified as part of the hiring process.
PAY
Pay is based on experience and will be determined during the interview.
