Community Resource Counseling Group (CRCG) is seeking compassionate and motivated Master’s-level Therapists who are license-eligible, provisionally licensed, or actively seeking clinical supervision to join our growing behavioral health team.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians looking to gain valuable clinical experience while working toward independent licensure. Flexible, community-based therapy roles for clinicians pursuing licensure are common across behavioral health organizations.
Position Summary
The Community-Based Therapist provides individual, family, and crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, and families in homes, schools, and community settings. Therapists work collaboratively with CRCG’s multidisciplinary team to improve client functioning, strengthen families, and promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and community-based therapy services.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with DFCS, schools, physicians, and other community partners.
- Participate in supervision, staffing, and professional development.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- License eligible or provisionally licensed in Georgia (LMSW, APC, AMFT, or equivalent) or actively pursuing clinical licensure.
- Eligible to receive clinical supervision.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to meet all DHS background screening requirements.
