The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses.
We will be holding open hiring calls in the banquet room of the Thompson Hotel.

Cleans and sanitizes dishes according to company and Dept of Health standards.

Washes pots, pans and other cooking utensils and equipment

Properly stores and removes garbage and soiled linens.

Possesses indepth knowledge of dishwashing machine, as well as proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

Aides in cleaning inside and outside the venue.

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room as well as the entire kitchen.

Communicates product needs to the chefs, and the support staff.

Properly setsup dish room and performs other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.

Has at least two years previous experience as a Dishwasher in a medium/high volume restaurant.

Has conversational fluency in Spanish

Actively contributes as a team player by supporting coworkers throughout each workday.

Has a solid understanding of the job duties assigned to them and outlined in their job description.

Takes appropriate actions to maintain and/or repair all BOH equipment to ensure staff safety.

Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.

Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
