Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, ensuring creativity and quality in every dish.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food production.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on catering events and special functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in menu development and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or fine dining industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, catering practices, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and food management best practices.
- Excellent culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
