President of Solvd US
The President of Solvd US will drive local Solvd business across different lines of business in line with a consistent global strategy. The role's main focus is to maximize profitable and sustainable growth in given segments. The President is a true driving force towards excellence in customer, partner and employee experience, leading through influence in a global organization. The role will orchestrate and collaborate across all functions and Sales teams to drive business performance and execute priorities. The President will also act as key change agent to implement Solvd transformation locally.
This executive will lead the development and execution of profitable growth strategies through strong execution of priority initiatives and enterprise leadership. The President will leverage the core competencies of the business and Solvd while managing a team in a matrix organization, collaborating effectively with functional leaders across the world. The role is accountable for the results, with a main focus on business development with new partnerships, extending the existing portfolio and drive constantly smart growth. The President will drive local engagement across teams, act as first line of defense and will be the key Solvd representative for employees, local business partners, regulators and other stakeholders. This is a fast-paced role set within an international environment and is locally based.
What you’ll do:
Business Leadership
- Develops plan, jointly with functional leaders, and serves as the main driver of profitable growth by understanding local markets and maximizing opportunities with strong accountability for both revenue and profitability results across all Lines of Business (LoB).
- Pursues long term visionary goals over time while delivering short-term results.
- Translates the vision of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans, sets ambitious, compelling goals and schedules for growth.
- Takes quick and confident decisions to address different business situations in a way that will lead to positive business and financial outcomes.
- Serves as first line of defense and execution arm of our LoB-strategy, drives transformational change, sponsors change initiatives and enables others to innovate.
- Seeks opportunities to make a significant contribution and uses his or her excellent judgment regarding investment prioritization.
- Evaluates the growth opportunities through its people, products and processes, and translates this into an executable and well-defined plan.
- Partners with our global Lines of Business and global sales teams to design and execute growth strategies targeting key segments, identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Partners with functional heads to align resources and set budgets to ensure effective execution in a matrix environment.
- Harmonizes operations and ensures functional alignment to meet commercial targets.

- Builds strong interpersonal alliances and acts as a role model to motivate others at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Ensures appropriate governance and controls are in place to adhere to corporate guidelines, requirements and industry regulations.
- Plays an integral role in major governance & steering processes (e.g. rewards cross-collaboration during Year-End-Review process, provides planning dialogue cross-check and input, offers strategy input to Board, ensures group guidelines are fulfilled, confirms consistency of financial reports, knowledgeable of legal processes/potential labor actions, and remains well informed of Auditing processes/pending actions).
What we're looking for:
The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience, including 5+ in senior leadership, with a strong record of scaling businesses and delivering sales, profit, and market‑share growth. They excel in analytics, innovation, and collaboration within fast‑paced, matrixed environments. Knowledge of insurance claims is a strong asset.
They are a proven executive with broad leadership experience, including budget management, achieving ambitious targets, business development, and leading complex operations through collaboration and coaching. They can identify customer needs and industry trends and translate them into service offerings, with significant opportunity to grow business with existing partners.
The President will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in the B2B sales and large client management
- Demonstrable experience in business development
- Demonstrable experience in working in an international, fast paced organization
- Ability to analyze and evaluate complex strategic issues
- MBA or advanced certifications preferred, but not required
- Experience in managing a P&L
- Experience in financial services industry
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in hybrid organizational setups.
