Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, wiring, conduit, motors, and fixtures.
- Maintain conveyors, power units, and other production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Order replacement parts and complete purchase orders as needed.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work safely with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Organized with good documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
Experience with:
- 24V–480V electrical systems
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Conveyor systems
- Electric and hydraulic motors
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Chain and roller conveyors
- PLCs (troubleshooting experience preferred; programming not required)
- Electrical schematics
- Limit switches, photo eyes, and proximity sensors
- Light welding and fabrication
- Forklift maintenance and repair
