We are seeking for immediate employment, a Floral Delivery/Shop Worker at Miller Florist in Oxford, AL.

The delivery/shop worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of beautiful floral arrangements while providing exceptional customer service within the shop. Their responsibilities include delivering orders and assisting customers both in person and over the phone, as well as processing flowers and plants, maintenance of buckets and coolers, and providing assistance to the designers as needed. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and open to learning our processes & systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service in the shop, answering inquiries, making recommendations, and taking orders. Answering phones and processing internet orders. Delivery: Safely transport and deliver floral arrangements to funeral homes, churches, customers’ homes, businesses, and event locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop clean and organized, cleaning out and maintaining coolers, water plants, assist designers by ensuring that supplies are stocked, etc.
Order Preparation: Prepare and package orders for delivery, ensuring they meet the shop’s standards for quality and presentation.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and customer service skills, general computer skills
Ability to handle deliveries in a timely and professional manner Knowledge of flowers and plants is a plus
Attention to detail, quick learner and ability to manage multiple tasks are imperative.
21+ years of age with clean driving record for delivery role
Ability to lift and carry flower arrangements and delivery items ( approx. 30 lbs)
Verifiable positive attendance record with previous employers
Basic Schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday
