Position Overview
The Team and Content Lead serves as both a classroom teacher and a grade-level instructional leader. This hybrid role is responsible for facilitating collaborative planning, supporting instructional excellence, and ensuring alignment with school-wide expectations. The Team and Content Lead is a key driver of student achievement and teacher development within their grade.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate all grade-level content meetings, fostering a positive and productive team culture.

Monitor the completion and quality of instructional exemplars for the grade.

Provide timely, actionable feedback on instructional planning to grade-level teachers.

Model effective instructional strategies in classrooms as needed.

Observe grade-level teachers and offer constructive feedback to support growth.

Conduct weekly gradebook checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Communicate and ensure implementation of school-wide culture and instructional expectations within the grade.

Review and analyze data trends with the grade-level curriculum leader to inform instruction and intervention1.

Complete all previously outlined team lead responsibilities.

Fulfill all classroom teacher duties as described in the teacher job description.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid teaching certification.

Prior experience in teacher leadership, instructional coaching, or grade-level/content leadership strongly preferred.

Evidence of effective classroom instruction and student achievement gains.
