Food Preparation
Meets with cook supervisor – assigns daily food preparation such as salad bar, potato bar, deserts, employee meal setup and next day breakfast preparation and catered event tray and food. Delivery catered items. Ensures that dietary requirements are correct and puree consistency is correct. Ensure quality in all areas. Set up DOM serving area before meals.
Cleaning
Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments. Follow department safety and sanitation guidelines.
Setup of Dish Room and Transport
Setup dish room prior to operation. Assist on dish machine as needed. Responsible for washing all pots and pans. Transport meal cart to appropriate unit.
Other Duties
Performs other duties as may be assigned that are within Dietary department’s mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Pay: $21.63 per hour
