Job Summary
Seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and oversee a service department. This position will manage HVAC technicians, coordinate scheduling and dispatching, provide technical support, resolve customer concerns, and monitor department performance.
The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on HVAC knowledge with proven leadership or supervisory experience. A Journeyman or Master HVAC license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department.
- Manage scheduling, dispatching, and completion of service calls.
- Lead and support HVAC service technicians.
- Provide technical guidance on complex HVAC service and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of work.
- Train, coach, and evaluate service technicians.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
- Track service department revenue, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes and profitability.
- Ensure technicians follow company safety policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure proper use of service management software.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager, Service Supervisor, or HVAC Lead.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, service, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Previous experience managing or supervising HVAC technicians.
- Commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
- Journeyman or Master HVAC license preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HVAC service management or dispatch software.
- Ability to manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay: $90,811.84 - $115,687.38 per year
