Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. A background heavy equipment repair, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical issues. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse machinery, including farm equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained across operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform crane service
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems including soldering and wiring repairs.
- Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding (including TIG/MIG), and assembly tasks.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, HVAC systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as cranes & forklifts.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. (45lbs)
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients or internal teams regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
- The ability to stand on a 8 hour shift.
- FLUENT ENGLISH.
- WILL BE WORKING IN THE WIRING DEPARTMENT.
- PAY RATE IS 19/HR- 22/HR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
SCHEDULE-MUST BE PUNCTUAL
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
7:00 AM-3:30PM (8 HOUR SHIFT)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
