The After School Counselor supports the Extended Day Director to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment outside the normal hours of the school day. (part-time non-exempt approx. 9-12 hours per week). Position will begin with the start of the new school year in August.
Applicant Requirements
Applicant must
· be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
· be warm and approachable
· upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
· be able to obtain certification in First Aid and PMAT, within 30 days of hire
Applicants should
· have prior experience working with children
· be able to occasionally lift at least 50 pounds
