About Us
Colfax Senior Living is a warm, resident-centered assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate care and promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for our seniors. We’re looking for a dependable and caring Caregiver to join our team and ensure our residents are safe, comfortable, and well cared for during the day, nights, and overnight.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Monitor residents throughout the night, responding promptly to their needs and ensuring their safety.
- Perform routine rounds and document observations, vital signs, and care activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and preparing the community for morning activities.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team, nurses, and family members as needed.
- Maintain a calm and reassuring presence during nighttime hours.
- Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Health, or similar).
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification a plus but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references.
