Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Clinical Coordinator to join our team in a remote and/or hybrid capacity. This role is pivotal in coordinating and supporting the Limited X-ray Technician medical imaging student externs as they prepare to demonstrate medical assisting/limited x-ray procedures within the outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of x-ray imaging procedures. Experience in urgent care centers and diagnostic radiology will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee limited x-ray clinical externs imaging/procedures in various settings.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all imaging processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate diagnostic evaluations and imaging workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the externship processes done by the externing student.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by monitoring student quality and adherence to clinical standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical imaging (diagnostic radiology).
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic evaluation.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to radiology and emergency medicine.
- Current ARRT licenses (R) (CT) (RT)
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques essential for safe imaging practices.
- Excellent time management and communication skills for both the students and staff at MCCNC
- Experience with tracking databases
- Ability to travel to the facility periodically to meet with the students.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams remotely.
Pay: $38.00 - $43.66 per hour
