Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their visit experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including ice cream treats, burgers, fries, and beverages following company standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment such as cafes or grocery stores is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high energy levels and positive attitude
