Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor with CNC experience to assist in our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in managing the manufacturing team, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment. There will also be a shift differential for this position.
Duties
- Assist in daily manufacturing operations and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any production issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and employee performance.
- Implement best practices in manufacturing processes while adhering to company policies.
- Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
- Have knowledge and experience with CNC machines
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques and decision-making processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- At least two years related experience and/or training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
