Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation as needed in collaboration with kitchen staff
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
- Support beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, and drink presentation
- Ensure all POS transactions are processed smoothly and accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and calculating bills
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in serving food and beverages
- Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and service excellence
