Job Summary
The Police Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within the community. Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.

- Conduct thorough criminal investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations.
- Enforce traffic laws and regulations; issue citations as necessary.
- Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management skills.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; assist in emergency medical situations.
- Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor activities and gather intelligence on criminal behavior.
- Engage with community members to build relationships and promote public safety initiatives.
- Handle animals in distress or involved in incidents, ensuring their welfare while adhering to animal care protocols.
- Stay informed about immigration law as it pertains to law enforcement duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related fields is preferred.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in report writing with attention to detail for accurate documentation of incidents.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver's license; ability to operate police vehicles safely under various conditions.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security measures is beneficial.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
