Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vehicle Inspection Station Compliance Officer to ensure the safety, regulatory adherence, and operational integrity of OUR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN OUR DETROIT DIVISION inspection facilities. In this role, you will oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing CDL A VEHICLE inspections, and workplace safety protocols. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of quality and safety while supporting the smooth operation of inspection stations. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle inspection stations to verify compliance with FMCSA standards and other safety regulations.
- Review and ensure adherence to FMCSA safety protocols during INSPECTIONS AT THE STATION PLACED IN TWO TERMINALS.
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed reports on inspection findings, violations, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare regulatory reports and documentation required for local, state, and federal agencies to demonstrate ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with station management to implement corrective measures for identified violations or safety concerns.
- THIS PERSON MUST BE EDUCATED on compliance requirements FROM THE FMCSA, safety procedures, and best practices for maintaining a compliant .
Skills
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA COMMERCIAL TRUCK standards and TRANSPORTATION safety practices.
- Familiarity with FMCSA TRUCK AND TRAILER regulations relevant to vehicle parts or fluids.
- Proven experience in compliance WORK within THE transportation SAFETY sectors.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately ON A INSPECTION SHEET DESIGNED BY SAFETY.
- Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for training staff and liaising with regulatory agencies.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills for managing multiple inspections and reports.
