Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including rollbacks and car haulers. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely load and unload operations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of trucks to transport vehicles over designated routes.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure personal safety and that of other road users.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on truck driving across various vehicle types.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type operated preffered but not required. Must be willing to obtain.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and adhere to maintenance schedules.
Pay: $800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
