Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for menu items
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a sanitized work environment by cleaning surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly
- Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service to ensure a smooth flow of guests’ dining experience
- Aid in catering setups and banquet events by organizing supplies and assisting with food presentation
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with food service operations, including basic cooking or food prep skills, is advantageous
- Experience in catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards is beneficial
