Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at OrthoMD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of physical therapy, including outpatient care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics. This role involves developing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment strategies to improve patients' mobility and overall quality of life. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients in our state of the art therapy facility under the guidance of Orthopedic and Hand surgeon Andrew Yang, MD. Work experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to other care settings.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient services, and orthopedics is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physical therapy.
- Bilingual Korean and English is strongly preferred but not required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
