Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Painter to complete interior and exterior painting projects at our assisted living community. This is a temporary, part-time position that will continue until the painting project is completed. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and is respectful of residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
- Paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and common areas.
- Paint exterior building surfaces and other designated outdoor areas.
- Protect furniture, flooring, landscaping, and surrounding surfaces during painting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and facility policies.
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Work respectfully in an occupied assisted living environment with minimal disruption to residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience (interior and exterior).
- Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use ladders and painting equipment.
Employment Requirements:
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:
- Criminal background clearance
- Pre-employment health screening
- Tuberculosis (TB) test/clearance
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Temporary position until the painting project is completed
- Flexible schedule based on project needs
