Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering equipment and material across various construction sites. In this vital role, you'll operate tractor with a quad rock box and lowboy .
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across diverse routes, including OTR driving routes, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Transport construction equipment using lowboy.
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues immediately.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical challenges promptly.
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers in commercial driving environments.
- Familiarity with quad rock boxes and lowboys.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time traffic updates.
