Position Summary:
AirSpace Innovation (ASI) is seeking a creative and technically proficient videographer and editor to support the development of high-quality visual content that communicates complex aviation, aerospace, and air traffic management concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. This position is ideal for a part-time or contract professional with experience producing compelling illustrations, infographics, and short-form videos using modern AI-assisted design tools alongside traditional graphic design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually engaging infographics, diagrams, illustrations, and short video content that convey airspace integration, aviation safety, or advanced aerospace technologies.
- Translate technical narratives and strategic messaging into visually digestible formats for stakeholders, briefings, proposals, and public engagement.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Midjourney, DALL·E) to accelerate design workflows and support ideation.
- Design within brand guidelines while elevating storytelling impact through creative visual framing and narrative sequencing.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, program managers, and strategic communications personnel to ensure technical accuracy and visual clarity.
- Prepare visuals for publication in proposals, slide decks, websites, and conference materials.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a FAA Public Trust clearance.
- Proven experience creating professional-grade graphics and visual storytelling assets, preferably in the aviation, aerospace, or defense sectors.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
- Hands-on experience using AI design tools and platforms for generating or enhancing visual content.
- Strong visual composition and design sensibility; able to distill complex systems into clear, engaging visuals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Familiarity with air traffic management, aviation systems, or space operations is a plus.
