Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Psychologist to join our educational team, committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic testing, behavioral assessments, social-emotional student assessments, and special education assessments to determine student needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social-emotional development, mental health support, and behavior management for students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral health plans.
- Manage crisis situations through crisis intervention strategies and safety planning to ensure student well-being.
- Assist in early intervention efforts by conducting intake assessments and developing appropriate support plans for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Support teachers in implementing behavior management techniques and social skills training tailored for students with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, psychological testing results, case notes, and records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements such as special education law.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, psychological testing methods, and behavioral health practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other special needs populations.
- Skilled in crisis management, conflict resolution, case management, and family collaboration in education contexts.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health assessments and behavioral health documentation is preferred.

Pay: $55,358.00 - $98,585.00 per year
