Job description:
Superior Industrial Equipment is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our growing repair business in both our Sycamore and Des Moines facilities. We repair liquid pumps, blowers, vacuum pumps, seals and product specified gearboxes for heavy industrial and process customers across the Midwest. Our Des Moines facility has a full machine shop for in-house repairs and custom machine work for customers. This opportunity is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical leader who enjoys working with people, wants to grow with the Company while developing and implementing growth strategies and new processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage two (2) repair facilities, and a machine shop including oversight of shop personnel, shop capacity and on time delivery.
· Manage the repair process to maintain quality, costs and meet customer expectations.
· Implement new or revise existing repair processes.
· Find, evaluate and qualify new vendors and suppliers
· Work with management on initiatives for safety, growth and profitability
· Manage the Company wide safety program
· Maintain an accurate production schedule that forecasts monthly revenue and shop capacity
· Identify staffing needs and recruit additional personnel to support growth
· Work with engineering on new equipment skids
· Support our Integrated Systems Division as required
· Drive continuous improvement in shop operations
Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity is required and a technical or engineering degree is preferred.
· Ability to travel between shops is required
· Experience working with rotating equipment, pumps, piping systems, or packaged process systems
· Familiarity with steel fabrication, welding, and skid-mounted equipment assembly is a plus
· Experience managing multiple shops is desirable
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This position reports to the Director of Operations located in Des Moines and offers the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding Company.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Education:
Experience:
