We are in search of a Loss Prevention Administrator who has an eye for detail. You will be responsible for monitoring activity and reporting workplace concerns. The loss prevention team is dedicated to the safety and security of our staff and the workplace. The position is temporary with the possibility of being permanent.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Monitor and patrol company premises to identify safety and security concerns, unauthorized activity, and policy violations.
- Safely recover assets and make apprehensions when appropriate
- Identify issues of operational errors and policy violations
- Conduct routine audits and inspections
- Gather and document evidence as it relates to theft or any company policy violation
- Investigate and resolve various fraud and theft cases
- Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety supplies.
- Collaborate with department managers on security, safety, and operational concerns.
- Work closely with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for visitors, vendors, and will-call customers.
- Provide administrative support to the Loss Prevention Manager.
- The ability to get along with others.
- Regular on-site attendance is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or other related fields
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
- Ability to prepare professional reports, business correspondence, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to work closely with Law enforcement agencies
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
