Taproom Lead Bartender

Do you love craft beverages, creating memorable guest experiences, and leading an energetic team? Atlanta Hard Cider Co. is looking for an enthusiastic Lead Bartender to help lead our taproom team and deliver exceptional hospitality in one of Georgia’s most unique craft beverage destinations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take the next step into a leadership role while working in a fun, environment centered around craft cider, cocktails, and community.
Position Details
- Approximately 28 hours per week
- Typical schedule includes Wednesday–Saturday or Wednesday, Friday–Sunday
- Saturday and evening availability is required
- Flexible schedule based on events and business needs
- Desired start date: Week of July 29
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support our bartending team
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable guest experiences
- Prepare cocktails, cider flights, and beverages with consistency and attention to detail
- Train team members on recipes, service standards, and company procedures
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stocking
- Open and close the taproom following established procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar
- Handle POS transactions and cash accurately
- Help execute special events, private parties, and taproom promotions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bartending experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience following recipes (bartender, barista, restaurant, brewery, or similar)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Passion for craft beverages is a plus (no cider experience required—we’ll teach you!)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions
