We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Child Care Center Director to lead and manage our early childhood education programs. Duties
- Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development to support early childhood learning standards and promote innovative educational practices.
- Oversee daily center operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all programs, staff management, and compliance with legal requirements related to childhood education.
- Manage budgets effectively, including planning, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring financial sustainability of the center’s programs.
- Lead personnel management efforts by supervising staff performance, facilitating professional development, conducting faculty evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that support growth, community engagement, and educational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to all regulations governing early childhood education, special education law, and educational compliance standards.
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives to support program enhancements, facility improvements, and community outreach efforts.
- Facilitate effective communication with families through public speaking engagements, parent meetings, and community events.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to licensing requirements, personnel files, student progress reports, and financial documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school director within early childhood or K-12 education settings.
- Deep knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and legal regulations including special education law.
- Strong management skills with experience supervising staff in educational environments; ability to motivate teams and facilitate professional growth.
- Expertise in curriculum development tailored to early learners; familiarity with instructional leadership in education settings.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, budgeting as an executive education administrator, and managing school operations efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, team leadership, and community engagement.
- Working knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulation requirements across local or state agencies.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds within a preschool or early childhood context; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Ability to navigate school legal frameworks confidently while fostering a positive learning environment for children and staff alike.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
