Overnight Production & Forklift Associates – $15/hr
Premier Staffing Unlimited is hiring Overnight Production and Forklift Associates for full-time opportunities in the Macon area!
We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We currently have opportunities for both Production Associates and experienced Forklift Operators.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
These are straight overnight positions — you will NOT rotate between day and night shift.
Production Associate Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned area, production responsibilities may include:
- Work on or around manufacturing and production lines
- Monitor products throughout the production process
- Inspect products for quality and identify defects
- Stack, package, sort, or prepare finished products
- Move materials and supplies throughout the work area
- Keep production areas clean and organized
- Perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift
- Follow established production procedures and instructions
- Meet productivity and quality expectations
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist in other production areas as needed
Forklift Operator Opportunities
We are also seeking experienced Forklift Operators with a minimum of 3 years of previous forklift experience.
Forklift responsibilities may include:
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Move raw materials, finished products, pallets, and other supplies
- Load, unload, stage, and transport materials
- Supply production areas with necessary materials
- Move finished products to designated areas
- Perform equipment inspections before operation
- Follow all warehouse and manufacturing safety procedures
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surroundings while operating
- Assist with inventory and material-handling duties as needed
Applicants interested in forklift positions must have at least 3 years of verifiable forklift experience.
Schedule – Overnight Shift
This position works a 12-hour overnight schedule.
Candidates must be available to work the full overnight shift, including weekends based on the assigned schedule.
This is a straight night-shift position. Employees do not rotate between days and nights.
Because this is a 12-hour manufacturing schedule, dependable attendance and reliable transportation are extremely important.
QualificationsProduction Associates
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar experience is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift as required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Dependable attendance and work history
Forklift Operators
In addition to the qualifications above:
- Minimum of 3 years of previous forklift experience required
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or similar environment
- Ability to safely operate equipment in an active work environment
- Strong safety awareness and attention to surroundings
- Previous material-handling experience preferred
