Cobblestone Ovens is looking for an experienced Senior / Master Commercial Cooking Equipment Technician to join our service team.
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in the commercial cooking equipment industry. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, ranges, fryers, steamers, dish machines, mixers, and other hot-side equipment.
Cobblestone Ovens is well known in the industry for our work on Revolving Tray Ovens, but our senior technicians also work on a wide range of commercial bakery and cooking equipment, including rack ovens, combi ovens, deck ovens, convection ovens, and other hot-side equipment.
Experience with brands such as Convotherm, Revent, MIWE, Montague, Sveba Dahlen, Baxter, Hobart, Rational, Blodgett, Garland, Vulcan, and other major commercial cooking equipment manufacturers is a plus.
This position is for a technician who can work independently, troubleshoot at a high level, communicate professionally with customers, and help support the rest of the service team when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair commercial cooking and bakery equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, gas, steam, and mechanical issues
- Service rack ovens, combi ovens, deck ovens, revolving tray ovens, convection ovens, and other hot-side equipment
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff
- Complete service tickets, reports, and job documentation accurately
- Assist with training and supporting less-experienced technicians when needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company well in the field
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial cooking equipment service experience
- Strong knowledge of hot-side commercial kitchen and bakery equipment
- Experience with revolving tray ovens, rack ovens, combi ovens, and deck ovens preferred
- Convotherm, Revent, MIWE, and Montague experience is a plus
- Ability to diagnose electrical, gas, steam, and mechanical issues
- CFESA certification preferred
- Master Technician or senior-level experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
