Sandoval Construction, LLC currently has an opening for a Construction Superintendent working out of our Montrose, CO office.
The Superintendent typically works Monday – Friday, 8 A.M. – 5 P.M.
The Superintendent is responsible for working with commercial and residential clients to understand the scope of new construction projects, read and understand reports, building plans, and develop a comprehensive estimate of materials needed for each job. The superintendant will be required to travel to job sites, customers’ offices, and vendors as needed to gather information.
Specific responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
- Meeting with Clients throughout project to verify any changes or communication needed.
- Responding to requests for information from clients and subcontractors.
- Requesting Inspections
- Revising plans to meet building codes and client request.
- Overseeing each project by scheduling and organizing a timeline.
- Requesting proposals and estimates from subcontractors as well as suppliers.
- Interacting with employees, customers, vendors, and the public in a professional manner.
- Ordering and supplying materials for job site. This includes ensuring deliveries, quanities, and correct items have arrived to correct job.
- Coordinating onsite activities and letting team know of schedule updates and or changes via email, phone, and in person.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current knowledge of construction trade.
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Drivers Licence
- Experience managing complex projects.
- Proficient using Excel, Word, and Outlook. Some knowledge but not required of scheduling software (Builder Trend)
- Thorough and highly detail oriented.
- Uses analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized.
- Proactive.
- Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrates professional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Maintains confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
