Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment while minimizing hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address special requests promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them accordingly.
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly, professional service that enhances guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial or commercial cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with custodial procedures and safety standards within a hospitality or institutional setting.
- Prior experience managing or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
