PriorityWorkforce is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. Duties
- Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
- Support troubleshooting efforts using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify issues with machinery.
- Perform basic repairs such as welding, <LOCATION> welding, and replacing mechanical parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Operate field service tools including ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers to diagnose electrical faults.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist in the calibration of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Help with the operation of equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial machinery.
- Follow safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, and industrial electrician practices.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in industrial mechanic work or related fields; military experience in maintenance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing facility operations and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and control systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), HVAC/R systems, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; ability to use multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during field service tasks.
