Now Hiring: After-School Teacher
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable After-School Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate has experience working with school-age children and is passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive after the school day.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of school-age children during the after-school program.
Plan and lead creative, fun, and age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, STEM projects, outdoor play, and group activities.
Assist children with homework and provide encouragement and academic support as needed.
Foster positive relationships with children while promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusion.
Encourage active participation and create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and daily activities.
Qualifications:
Experience working with school-age children in a school, childcare, camp, or after-school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Creative, enthusiastic, and able to keep children engaged through a variety of activities.
Patient, reliable, and nurturing with a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
