About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to solve technical problems, support manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using CAD software.
- Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality and project management.
- Perform testing, troucbeshooting, and validation of mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.
- Support prototype development and product improvements.
- Manage engineering projects and meet deadlines with budget constrains.
- Assist in continuous improvement intitiatives for manufacturing and production processes.
- Assist customer service with technical questions from customers and contractors.
- Use ERP software to set up new items for suctoms orders.
- May require occasional travel to client sites or production facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in SolidWord (preferred), Pro Engineer, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of quality systems and engineering standards.
- Strong analytical, probem solving, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage mutiple projects simultaneously.
- Project management experience a plus.
