Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance our offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Follow proper knife skills and food preparation techniques to optimize efficiency and safety
Skills
- Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred, with a strong understanding of food handling procedures
- Proven culinary experience, especially in pizza making or fine dining environments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Excellent knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and presentation
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving in restaurant or kitchen settings
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
